What Each One Actually Holds

Seated means everyone has a chair and a place at a table. Floating means a standing reception with live counters. We quote both because they are very different numbers, and the one people are usually given is the larger.

The three settings in detail

The Event Lawn

The main event ground — open, level and large enough for a full wedding, with the Bay audible from every corner of it.

Catering · In-house kitchen, full veg and non-veg menus

  • Parking for cars and buses immediately alongside
  • Power and lighting run to the lawn
  • Music until 10pm, per local norms
Dinner laid out on the sand at dusk: low tables and floor cushions on woven mats, hurricane lanterns and strings of warm bulbs on bamboo poles.

The Beachfront

Our own stretch of shoreline, set with low tables and lanterns. The most photographed part of the property, and the least formal.

  • Weather-dependent between October and December
  • Tide and sand conditions checked the morning of
  • Lighting is run out for evening events

Poolside

The pool deck, set for a smaller gathering — a mehendi, a welcome dinner, a birthday that does not need four hundred people.

  • Pool closes to swimming during a booked event
  • Sheltered from the wind on all but the seaward side

The Same Rules at Every Venue

  • Catering is our own kitchen; outside caterers are not permitted
  • Music until 10pm, in line with local norms
  • Parking for cars and buses on site
  • Decor may be brought in, subject to a walkthrough
  • October to December bookings carry a free date change for weather
